Adele Sauros injured her wrist and is unable to perform in the concert with the Adele Sauros Quartet. Instead of Adele Sauros, soulful French guitarist Wilfried Wilde will be featured as the soloist. The Wilfried Wilde Quartet will perform, among other pieces, compositions by Wilde as well as works by Adele Sauros. The concert will weave together the musicians’ shared journey through their compositions, as they have collaborated on numerous projects in Switzerland.
Wilfried Wilde is a guitarist and composer originally from Saint-Sever, France, and currently residing in Basel, Switzerland. In recent years, he has primarily performed in Spain, where he has several projects that have released albums, such as: Wilfried Wilde Quintet: “Oscilenscope” (2015), two bass-less trio albums as leader of WIZ – “WIZ” (2021) and “Mosaico” (2023), LOIROS – “Loiros” (2019) and “Back From The Edge” (2023).
