The Cavemen is a duo formed by bassist Kingsley Okorie and drummer Benjamin James. The music of the Nigerian group The Cavemen combines elements of afrobeat, reggae, soul, and hip hop.
The Cavemen’s collaboration began with the release of the single “Osondu” in 2020, followed by their debut album “Roots” later that same year. The following year, the duo released a new album titled “Love and Highlife.”
In 2020, The Cavemen won the Headies Award for Best Alternative Album from Hip Hop World Magazine for their album “Roots.”
