Pessa is a multi-talented artist who skillfully navigates the realm between R&B, jazz, and hip-hop, garnering interest from various quarters with his debut album “Jazzijäbä” (2021), which he largely created himself. Having played the trumpet for over 10 years, Pessa is currently studying at the Kuopio Conservatory, and his album, born in his home studio, showcases the artist’s musicality and desire to bring something new to the Finnish music scene. In 2023, the artist released the single “5AM (feat. Gettomasa),” which immediately found its place on Spotify’s official top list, ushering listeners into the laid-back atmosphere of a summer night.
Cafe Pori Jazz is an entry-restricted (18+) and ticketed event starting from 7:00 PM. Tickets are priced at €15. Following the performance, starting from 11:00 PM, there will be DJ-led programming, with tickets priced at €10. Tickets are available only at the gates of the venue.
