French-Caribbean singer and bassist Adi Oasis’ retro-fused music features soul, funk, and r&b as well as influences of the likes of funk legend Bootsy Collins. Adi Oasis focuses both on the music and the message. She takes a stand on both personal and political issues, which Adi Oasis look at the through the eyes of an immigrant living in New York. She began her career working with the likes of Lenny Kravitz, Thundercat and Giles Peterson and in 2018 pursued a solo career. She’s been featured at legendary jazz festivals such as Newport Jazz Festival and Montreux Jazz Festival and will make her Pori Jazz debut in July.
